Updates

Welcome to the page where I give some news about the blog, like if I won't be posting for some time because I am busy. I also announce here what I am thinking of posting next.

April 15th: I decided to watch some Japanese dramas to restore the balance. I should really try to find some Taiwanese dramas, the label is so small in my label cloud... anyway, here are the Coffee & Vanilla and the In House Marriage Honey reviews. Also, welcome to a new label: Coffee. I never thought it would be warranted.

2022 January 6th: Happy New Year! The review for What's wrong with Secretary Kim ? is (finally) up. I tried to watch Her Private Life but I DNF it. I don't know if I'll review it. Currently watching Young lady and Gentleman but it's 50 episodes and currently airing, and available on Youtube so it's super convenient. I didn't know that it was 50 episodes when I started to watch, since I avoid these, but now I'm invested in these characters. 

 

2021 July 11th: Finished and posted the Goblin review that has been in draft for months. It has been a hard one to review!

Next review will be What's wrong with Secretary Kim ?
 

November 3rd: I posted the review for Trot lovers which I actually watched before Touch my heart and in between Good witch. It's a +! Currently watching Goblin.

 

October 16th: I decided to finish the 6th episode of Touch your heart. It didn't convince me to stick with it. So my review is a DNF. I'm now going to start Do you like Brahms ?

 

October 15th: I'm not actually in hiatus anymore, since I posted my review of Good witch, which made me think I was over dramas, then also watched Trot lovers which well, here I am watching Touch your heart, that I won't finish, and rewatching My Lucky star, which I still love.

 

July 23rd: OK, that's it ! I finished and posted my drafts! And bonus, I ended up rewatching Secret garden and watching Nae Il's Cantabile and finally posting about Nodame Cantabile haha. Here is the joint review! I'm glad to report that the Korean adaptation is faithful to the spirit of the original. 
I'm now going back on hiatus. However, I still reeceive notifications on comments so I'll come back to reply if there are some from people who wandered her. Have a good day and take care !

2020 July 9th: So I'm back on this blog after 4 years, not to start reviewing regularly again, but to finally publish the last articles that have in drafts. Why now? Well, during quarantine, a Korean friend wrote to me, and then, I decided to get interested in BTS, so I've been thinking again about Korean pop culture. I'm also at a point in my life when I want to close some chapters.

I never finished watching Murphy's Law of Love and I won't. It's a DNF. It was cute but nothing special, and really contrived.

Review for The Heirs finally posted! The URL tells me that I started the draft in 2018 :s

July 30th: Posted the review for From 5 to 9. I have to write for the second season of Hotaru no Hikari. Currently watching Taiwanese drama Murphy's Law of Love. I'm on the third episode but I'm not convinced yet.

July 21st: Posted the review for Algernon ni Hanataba wo (minus). I'm way behind on the reviews since I finished From 5 to 9 and the rewatching of the second season of Hotaru no Hikari which is better than I remembered though still falling short of the heights of the first season for the reasons I will talk about.

2016 May 16th: I have internet at home! So I finished and posted the review for Bad Guy. I have strong feelings for that one. Mostly good ones.

I had forgotten that I had to post for Nodame Cantabile. In the meantime, I watched Algernon ni Hanataba wo, with you-know-who. Review coming.

May 9th: Prince + Princess 2 review. Since I retablished the balance between Taiwanese / Korean / Japanese dramas in my reviews, I want to post about Nodame cantabile but I'd like to finish watching the movies. Problem: they aren't good so I'm not very motivated. I also found out that there is a Korean adaptation starring two actors I like from previous work so I might watch it.

May 2nd: Drunken to love you review. The one for Prince + Princess 2 coming. It's a plus.

April 21st: I finished watching Drunken to love you and Rainie Yang has officially become one of my favourite drama actress. She picks great characters but I wish the dramas around her would be better.

I'm currently watching Prince + Princess 2 (which is not a sequel) and re-watching Nodame cantabile, one of my fav!

2015 January 5th: Happy New Year!

I have the review for The Legend of Brown sugar chilvaries in draft and also I've been watching Down with love which I should get to review (it's a +).

November 23rd: Monsters is a minus. I'm now watching a safe choice: The Legend of Brown sugar chivalries.

November 19th: I finally got around finishing writing the review of Nobuta wo produce. Fab! And yes, it was a rewatch.
Still watching Monsters. I'm starting to warm up to it though one of the many habits of the lead character gets on my nerves.

November 18th: Review of Heaven's wedding gown. Currently watching Monsters. Indeed, I put my catching up of Taiwanese drama on hiatus coz I have to catch up on something more important: Yamashita Tomohisa's dramography. But seriously, I don't know why, every new drama I watched got a bad or so-so review. The last new drama to be a + was Akumu-chan... and Monsters won't end the streak.

November 9th: Review of Borrow your Love posted. New crush: Dylan Kuo.

I'm now watching Heaven's wedding gown but it's starting to get a bit too dark for my taste.

November 1st: To restore balance, I'm still watching more Taiwanese dramas. I posted today Alice in Wonder city review. I finished it though it wasn't so good. But, after My Lucky Star, I need my dramas to be less addictive so I can resist the urge to watch the next episode and go to bed and not be tired for two weeks.

I'm currently watching Borrow My Love. I like it but I'm still on the fence.

October 12: I rewatched My Lucky Star and five years later, it's still a Fav! I'm thinking of watching another Taiwanese drama to restore the balance.

I also have to finish the Nobuta wo produce review which has been in draft for weeks, maybe months...

October 4: The Sungkyunkwan scandal review is up! In the end, it's a +/-. :(

September 19: I decided to DNF Dating agency Cyrano and am now watching Sungkyunkwan scandal. I thought it could be a Fav but am now hesitating between a + et a +/- . :(

September 6: Finally posted the Star no koi review and bonus nostalgia Coffee Prince. The Nobuda one is still in draft. And re-reading these updates, I realised I never posted the Hana Yori Dango review...

Currently watching Cyrano dating agency.

March 10: Posting reviews of Oh! My girl!! and of the Paradise Kiss movie. This is not the odd one I announced.

Coming: Star no Koi and I rewatched Hana Yori Dango. It's going to be demoted from Fav to +.

2014 March 6: Reviews of Autumn's concerto and The Accidental couple posted, months later. A rewatching and a not-watching.

Coming: Oh! My girl!! and an odd one.

October 2: Posted review of Summer Nude. Currently rewatching Autumn's Concierto. I haven't posted much about Taiwanese dramas but they are so looong! 

September 12: Posted Top 10 favourite drama actors and Top 3 favourite drama actresses. Swoon.

September 11: Review of Akumu-chan posted! It's not romance but it's good!

September 9: Coffee House made me think. Review posted!

Coming: review of Akumu-chan, rewatch of Autumn Concierto to restore the balance with Taiwanese drama and posts ranking my favourite drama actors and actresses.

September 2: I posted a review of Hotaru no Hikari: the Movie. I was mad. Now I'm sad. 

August 31: Review of Love shuffle posted. Sorry about the format. Will try to fix it. Still watching Summer nude and will post a review of Coffee house.

August 19: Back from holidays! Review of Hotaru no Hikari season 1 posted. The coming Love shuffle review has to deal with eight protagonists.

Currently watching Summer nude, a drama with you-know-who (no, not Voldemort) and speaking of him, I plan to go fully superficial on a coming post. I also started a Korean drama Coffee House.

July 28: Review of Kurosagi (drama and movie) posted!

July 24: Just posted my mixed review of Proposal Daisakusen, a quite beloved Japanese drama.

July 24: Coming soon... new "rewatched" reviews: continuing the "dramography" of Yamashita Tomohisa with Kurosagi , then, or before, whatever, reviews of Love Shuffle and Favourite Hotaru no Hikari (season 1), all Japanese dramas. 

July 24: I'm back home, and to the Internet as well!

2013 May 11: Review of Bridal Mask finally posted. I never got Internet at home that year.

September 4: Only two episodes of Bridal Mask left... But I moved to a new city so I'm not sure when I will have Internet at home, if I do... :(

August 24: Leaving for a week. No computer and no Internet again.

August 21: Back from holidays. Still watching Bridal Mask. 4 episodes left.

August 21: Surprise review of Rebound, a nice Japanese drama from last year starring Hayami Mokomichi and Aibu Saki.

August 14: Liking Bridal Mask but having to wait for the episodes. I'm also leaving for holidays for 2 weeks.

July 30: Wow! Dramas are really trying to convince us that doing the washing is a cute and romantic activity! :)

July 28: Now watching Bridal Mask!

July 28: I am still not enjoying Absolute Boyfriend (TW) and I have realised with Big that it's no worth spending 16 hours on a drama you're not excited about. So I will write a DNF on A. B. (TW) and forget about a complete comparison to the Japanese drama.

July 28: Just posted the Big review and... I didn't like it.

July 9: Currently watching Big and Absolute Boyfriend (Taiwanese version). I'm not thrilled by these two dramas and I'm essentially watching to be able to review them and to compare to Zettai Kareshi. It's going to take some time. 

June 27: Just posted the review of Zettai Kareshi. I was thinking of watching the Taiwanese adaptation but I was not feeling it for now. I started watching the Korean drama Big.

June 20: Currently re-watching Absolute Boyfriend (the original Japanese one) because I realised that the actress playing an important character in Buzzer Beat was the lead in this drama. I had watched A. B. before B. B. and I didn't even recognised her! :)

June 11: Currently watching again Buzzer Beat.

June 1: Just posted the first part of the Rooftop Prince review.

I'm thinking of rewatching Buzzer Beat and reviewing it since I haven't written about a Japanese drama yet.

May 25: Sorry about not updating the blog for weeks. I have been really busy! Should be better now.

May 25: I will watch the end of Rooftop Prince this week-end and I will post the review. Hoping for a Fab!
